Ornaments measure 3.5", with gold cord hanger and plastic retail hanging bag.
This design features my favorite part of the river, the Upper Hudson Valley region. The headwaters of the Hudson are in the Adirondack Mountains, not widening until it passes Glens Falls and heads towards Albany. This part of the river is close and intimate, with mountains on either side, and provides great opportunities for whitewater rafting!
The area is associated with the Hudson River School, a group of American Romantic painters who worked from about 1830 to 1870. The school characterizes the artistic body, its New York location, its landscape subject matter, and often its subject, the Hudson River.
